Route Nine Studios is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. For ease, we will refer to ourselves as “we”, “us”, “our” or “Route Nine Studios” throughout this policy. It is important that you know how we store, collect and use the personal data that you give us. We may at times ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified, and all information collected will be used in accordance with this privacy policy.

What data do we collect and how do we use it?
Information provided voluntarily by you. For example, when you register for information or make a purchase or request a quote for work.
Information provided on any release/permission /consent forms (e.g. talent or location release/permission/consent)
Information that you provide when you communicate with us by any means.
Information we may collect via Campus, which is an educational database software we subscribe to. This allows us to access a directory of information about the education sector e.g. UK school details and the names of staff at those schools. We use this information to help us to more effectively provide our products and services that are relevant to schools and those who work in education. Through Campus we access information about teachers and other school staff that they have provided by signing up for a service called Teacher Perks.
We apply email tracking to some of the emails we send via Campus. We track two things: whether an email is opened, and what links are clicked. We do this by adding a small 1px image in each email (called a beacon) and adding some unique (harmless) tracking code to the links in the email. We implement tracking to ensure our emails are effective and provide you with educational value and benefit. If you engage with an email we send you (by opening it or clicking on a link) we might sometimes make contact again to see how we can support you and your needs.
We may collect the following information:
Name and job title
Contact information including email address
Demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests
Other information relevant to customer surveys, feedback forms, concent forms or questionnaires
If you interact with us on our Facebook page, Instagram or other social media presence, we use the information you provide to respond to questions or comments you leave us.
If you contact us, we will use the data you provide us to respond to your question.
We use this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, end products or to provide information to you that you request from us relating to our products or services. We also use this information to ensure that we have your full, informed consent regarding filming where necessary (or parental consent in the case of persons under the age of 16.)
Your personal information, such as your name, phone number, and email address collected through our contact form is stored on a secure mail server and stored only for communication purposes. We retain your email address to answer your enquiry, send you a quote (if requested), and to follow up on previous communication.
Personal information provided as part of release/consent forms will be stored in a secure online folder.
While we may store your contact information, it will be used only for legitimate client communication. We do not share your contact information with third parties and we will never sell an email list.
Storing Your Personal Data
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical and electronic procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. The sending of information via the internet is not totally secure and on occasion such information can be intercepted. We cannot guarantee the security of data that you choose to send us electronically. Sending such information is entirely at your own risk.
You have a legal right to withdraw consent, or object to, our processing of your data for marketing. We'll honour that as quickly as we can, no questions asked. You can do this through any of the following channels:
